Contractor Management Coordinators
An opportunity has arisen for experienced and suitably qualified Contractor Management Coordinators to join our team at Jamalco.
Under the direction of the Contractor Management Services Administrator this position is accountable for:
- Conducting pre–job checks for all jobs prior to deployment of contractor services, conducting spot sample surveys and routine inspections;
- Participating in all planning, scheduling and updating meetings that include general repairs and maintenance;
- Participating in Contractor evaluations of overhaul projects and preparing lessons learnt reports;
- Maintaining EHS training compliance of at least 85 percent;
- Developing, implementing and auditing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Centre for contractors, this implementation will include end-user training;
- Maintaining contractor management Daily Management Systems in accordance with stated guidelines;
- Working timely on priorities and utilizing resources both internally and externally in deployment of field maintenance and contractor personnel;
- Ensuring that the facility and the refinery’s equipment, used by contractors to execute tasks are maintained to Jamalco’s standards;
- Developing and implementing tools and systems to monitor and sustain compliance in the areas of EHS, JBS, Work Management and Contractor Productivity.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered you must have:
- An Associate Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical competence.
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in alumina refining Bayer Process plant and supervising field maintenance or construction service;
- A high level of leadership, organizational, coordination and persuasion skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative;
- Excellent human relations and communication skills;
- Competent in Microsoft office suite including MS Projects;
- Competent in Standardize Work system processes;
- Knowledge of Equipment Reliability and maintenance strategy;
- Good understanding and application in Planning and Scheduling.
